For our first episode, our Tribal Historic Preservation Office staff interviewed Dr. Erin Nelson. Dr. Nelson is the Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the University of South Alabama. Her research focus is Southeastern Archeology with an emphasis on Mississippian culture. During the interview, she shared information about the Mississippian ways of life before European contact.
