Missive 126: Finding Patience In Excitement

Listen Later

Hello my Manish Peeps!

In this episode we will discuss how excitement can quickly lead to focusing on a future desire over enjoying your life in the Now. This will cover the following defined points:

  • I don’t use the word patience often, but here it makes sense. When you are excited you often focus on the future, always eager and always waiting for that thing to appear.
  • Generally, patience denotes living in lack. That is what is occurring in this situation. You are so excited for your future you are focused on it and not the Joy in the Now.
  • While excitement is enjoyable, it can quickly turn to frustration as time begins to slow down. Instead, understand that it will appear at the perfect time in your life. You can find all the Love, Joy and Happiness in your now that you desire without needing that thing to come in. Be excited, but let that excitement for your future go, discovering patience with the positivity in your Now.
