Missive 70: Emotions Direct To Reason, But We Often Avoid The Knowing

Listen Later

Hello my Manish Peeps!

In this episode we will discuss how we often use our emotions to justify the reason for our behavior, but never take the time to understand the knowing within our thoughts. This will cover the following defined points:

  • We do not like to place blame on ourselves, so often times we place blame of not-so-positive emotions on others
  • These bad feeling emotions can often lead to false reasoning in our feelings (e.g. I am so mad because my son did not do the dishes.)
  • By reviewing our emotions and creating a knowing of where they come from, we can better respond as well as improve ourselves within any given situation (e.g. I am not upset that he did not do the dishes, I am upset that my wife will come home and be frustrated from working all day and have to clean the house at night. I am going to explain this physical impact my son is having on others by the choices he is making.)
