The party makes landfall in southern Keening and all is quiet, a bit too quiet. The party makes their way off The Succubus to discover recent snowfall has made travel difficult: snowshoes will be required. They meet two of the locals; Gibbi and Bibbi at their small house just north of the docks. After some discussion, it is decided the party will wait until morning to press on to New Tepest. While Alaric and Atlas search for material to make the required snowshoes, they are set upon by ghostly maidens.
