The party is finally able to get through the mysteriously barred door and met with Lord Roberto Hill, the owner of the mansion. Alaric discovered the man was covered in dunemancy and the party learned a bit about him and his family. The party showed the Lord the weird doll and Athelstan discovered its true nature, revealing it to be demonic in nature.  With Lord Hills help the party was able to seemingly dispatch the demon in the doll after Alaric dumped holy water on it causing an adverse affect in Ki’Lai, Sly, and Atlas. With the demon gone the party was able to finally leave the mansion and convinced Lord Hill to join them only to discover leaving the mansion was never an option for the Lord. Athelstan spend the night aboard the Succubus and gained some knowledge of the domain the party is currently in. The rest of the group slept in Gibby and Bibbi’s house after finding a familiar gnome inside. The party now must decide how best to get to New Tepest, by land or by the narrow channel leading up to the city.
