The BC NDP Parliamentary Secretary for Gender Equity responds to comments made by BC Liberal Leader Andrew Wilkinson who referred to victims of domestic abuse as simply people who are "in a bad marriage." Dean was not too happy with that choice of words, and although Wilkinson apologized, she says it is a reflection on how he views the issue. We also discuss the province's plan to provide five days of paid leave to victims of domestic and sexual abuse.
