The battle is over and it is time to deal with the aftermath. Quip wraps up his business in the card kingdom, leaving them to prepare for war. The Misfits court travels to the Boardlands to complete their bargains with Susan and Alice. Mal and Susan match wits while he questions the feline about her past. Finally, the Misfits are helped by a new friend, who may be familiar to some listeners.
