As announced through the week, there will be no stamp duty charged on single residential dwelling blocks until June 2021. There’ll also be no stamp duty for off-the-plan apartments and townhouses for purchases up to $500,000. ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr spoke about the changes and how they’re designed to stimulate the economy.

The ACT recently won two gongs at the National HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards.
