If you've heard anything about my history, you'll know that I got my start in a great studio called Crossroads Studios.  Crossroads Studios now one of the most well-known and sought-after Bluegrass and Gospel studios around.

Van Atkins is at the forefront of their sound.  I sat down with Van recently and we chatted (of course) about mics, gear, and DAWS - but our conversation went pretty quickly to a couple of things that matter WAY more than any of those... confidence and performance.
