We were invited by Woodhorn Museum near Ashington, Northumberland to deliver a session as part of the Northumberland Miner's Picnic on 10th June 2017 that, working with visitors, would offer a response to the Jeremy Deller: Battle of Orgreave temporary exhibition at Woodhorn.

We selected 40 tracks from the Top 100 UK singles of 1984 and used them and lyrics to prompt people about life, culture, identity, heritage and experience of the area.
We recorded over 20 people on the day who attended the picnic and live in the area; young and old from 6 to 65.
Thanks to Andrea, Anita and Liz at Woodhorn.
