Childhood crushes blossomed into high school sweethearts and further bloomed into a soul connection that has been quite miraculous over the years. While Rory and Michelle were separated for two long years as Rory served a mission for his church, their theme became Mizpah- The Lord watch between me and thee when we are absent one from another.
