At age 17 he was recruited for a programming job and moved to New Jersey. Ethan and Charles discuss getting university degrees, whether or not to get them and share their experiences at university. Ethan talks about getting into javascript, what he has done in the Javascript community, and his experience giving talks at conferences. They discuss what the stack looks like for Ethan's company, Value Management Strategies, and what Ethan is currently working on. Ethan ends the episode by talking about one turning point in his career.
