The MLB playoffs get underway Friday with the Wild-Card round. This is going to be a quick round as it is best two-of-three. The series are the St. Louis Cardinals, NL Central champions, against the Philadelphia Phillies, a wild-card entry, and the San Diego Padres and New York Mets, both wild-card entries.

In the AL, the Cleveland Guardians face the Tampa Bay Rays and the Seattle Mariners are primed for the Toronto Blue Jays.
