Game 1: A 5–1 victory behind Jeffery Springs, who tossed five innings of three-hit, one-run baseball to improve to 11–11 with a 4.11 ERA. RBIs came from Cortes, Hernaiz, Soderstrom, and Jacob Wilson.

Game 2: A dominant 6–0 shutout as Luis Severino earned the win, throwing 6.1 innings of three-hit ball with five strikeouts and one walk (now 8–11, 4.51 ERA). Shea Langeliers hit his 31st home run with two RBIs, Tyler Soderstrom added his 25th homer with two RBIs, and Brent Rooker drove in two more.

With one more game left in the Astros series and three games remaining against the Royals, the A’s sit at 75–83, eliminated from playoff contention but embracing the spoiler role.

AL West: Mariners have clinched, while the Astros are 1 game back in the Wild Card chase.
