Major League Baseball is considering a plan to begin playing baseball as early as May, and still comply with health guidelines for social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic. It would require that all games be played in the greater Phoenix area and that players, coaches and medical trainers live in relative isolation. Other changes could include the implementation of an electronic strike zone, more mic'd up players, and players sitting in the stands, six feet apart. How do you feel about this version of baseball? NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell instructed all teams that the NFL Draft in late April will be entirely virtual. What logistical challenges will this create? Later in the show, Seahawks safety Quandre Diggs discusses how he is staying connected with teammates. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
