MLK's Dream: We Still Have a Way to Go

Listen Later

Fifty years ago, Martin Luther King had a dream -- a vision we are celebrating today. And some day, we hope to say it's our reality.
Karoli, Cynematic and Donna agree that society has changed in the 50 years since the March on Washington, but there are still powerful forces determined to turn the clock back, as evidenced by the enactment of voting restrictions in states no longer encumbered by section 4 of the Voting Rights Act.
The MOMocrats also talk about the quagmire in Syria, and an educaton corruption scandal playing out right now in Pennsylvania, where the head of a Philadelphia online charter school has been charged with funneling public funds into his personal holdings.
Weekly political discussion from the progressive POV, hosted by the MOMocrats. Produced by Engender Media Group.
