Yo episode #29 is live!
This week we got two special guest for you! First is a friend of the show and homie, Chocolate Cake. If youve listened to the show youve probably heard us mention him before. Cake is a B-boy slash MC and can be found rocking mics and bboy ciphers all around Tokyo, from Life Parc to Speak Easy.
Secondly, we got one of he best break beat DJs in the world. Yes, the WORLD. That's right we have San Diego's very own, DJ MANE ONE! If youve been to a bboy event in SD, youve undoubtedly heard DJ Mane One. He one of SoCals preeminent break djs and has been cutting vinyl longer most of people have been listening to hiphop. We were super hyped to have him on the show. & We had so much to talk about with Mane and Cake but the episode was running way too long and we didnt get to really delve into Mane One's history in the scene. Mostly because Mega took up all the damn time talking about himself... AGAIN lol. So hopefully we can catch him again the next time hes out here. That said, we jump around a bunch of topics and get some really interesting insight from both of these guys. Shout out to DJ Mane One, Chocolate Cake, and Storm.
