UFC Fight Night 82 — UFC Fight Night 82 took place live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and in the main event, Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson upset former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks by first-round TKO. Also on the card, Roy Nelson got back into the winning column with a decision over Jared Rosholt.

B.J. Penn's return delayed until UFC 197 — B.J. Penn confirmed earlier this week that his return to mixed martial arts has been delayed until April's UFC 197.

Tim Means potentially violating USADA's policies — UFC welterweight Tim Means "potentially violated" USADA's policies, meaning he tested positive for banned substances, but is declining he knowingly used performance-enhancing drugs.

Yoel Romero's USADA case — UFC middleweight contender Yoel Romero was suspended by USADA last month for testing positive for banned substances but it was confirmed earlier this week a supplement he used post-fight was tested by USADA and popped for the same steroid Romero allegedly used. Romero's suspension may be decreased.
