MMIW: Misty Upham

Listen Later

Hey, Tricksters!

Misty Upham was a Native American Actress who had fought to overcome stereotypes, type casting, and her own sexual trauma. Tragically, in 2014 her name was added to the list of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Womxn. But, Misty's story does not end here, and it has truly not ended. The family seeks answers from the police department which failed them, and bring awareness of Misty's #metoo story which Hollywood left her out of.
