This one ain’t just another episode—it’s a milestone moment for The Muddy Mindset Podcast. Tap in with Beezy and officially welcome the new co-host, Milton Ashford II, to the muddy mentor team! Milt isn’t new to the show, but now he’s taking his seat for good—bringing all his wisdom, lived experience, and straight-up realness to every session.
We’re breaking down the “Force of Average”—that invisible wall that pops up right when you’re about to level up. From Milton’s raw update on his police academy journey to Beezy’s own battles with setbacks, we get into how the FOA tries to keep us stuck, how to recognize it, and—most importantly—how to keep digging till you hit your breakthrough.
Plus, we’re lifting up the youth with their own stories and shining light on what’s really going on as back-to-school season hits. And for all our listeners and parents out there, check out these community events happening this week to get your family ready for school:
Bookbag Giveaway: Bible Way Church, 2030 Putnam, August 23rd, Noon–2pm. Free bookbags for the kids! If you got questions or need info, call (567) 698-8438.
School Supply Drive: Hosted by the BRB Run Club, August 22nd, 4–7pm at the Glass City Riverwalk, 1521 Front St. Pull up for supplies before school starts!
Back-to-School Bash: August 23rd, Noon–4pm at 1776 Arlington Ave. Free food, bouncy houses for the kids, 30 free haircuts for boys, and 30 free styles for girls—first come, first served, so get there early to get your kids right for the school year.
Of course, we catch up on all things muddy, put some well-deserved folks in the spotlight, and end with advice you can really use.
Whether you’re here to get inspired or just want to hear two brothers keep it real: this is the one you don’t want to miss. Share it, show up to these events, and let’s keep lifting each other up—one muddy step at a time.
