Once King Krishnadev Rai's courtiers started to debate if it is possible to change a human's nature or not. King gave the two arguing teams a dog each to prove their point. The first group did their best to provide strength to the dog so it can keep its tail straight.  But the other group was led by Tenali and he used this opportunity to prove how human nature cannot be changed, though it can be suppressed in certain cases.
