In 2015 Maureen Brogan received a message from the original owners of the Original Sub Shop, a small deli in Toledo, asking her to take over the business. Her reply was easy and yet difficult to give. Maureen (often goes by the nickname Mo) had been a longtime customer of the Original Sub Shop and wanted to see the store continue but had never run her own deli before.
