  • MO speaks SW 1:2
In this episode, we explore social work in politics.
Your host, Aaron Crossley, has an informal conversation with Representative Keri Ingle (MO HD-35) and Representative Susan Ruiz (KS HD-23), two social workers who also happen to be elected officials. We explore how they become social workers, how they got into politics, and advice they would give to fellow social workers jumping into the political realm. You’ll even hear the feisty cats of District 23 make a cameo.
Heather Bradley-Geary - NASW-MO President - and Jessica Petrie give an update on what is happening in Jefferson City as this year's legislative session gets rolling.
