Yarmel ”Melly” Williams was a well-known gang member in the streets of Chicago, but his fame did not come from rapping or sports, it came from the work he put in and the way he carried himself. He was born on the 19th November 1991 on the Southside of Chicago. He has 2 other siblings and he is the oldest of the 3; 1 brother (Woo) and 1 sister (Kenjae). Melly is the son Yamur Williams & Angie B Williams, he is also the stepson of the notorious Black Disciple member Jerome Golden aka Fido who is now locked up for quadruple murder & robbery. But it doesn’t stop there because Melly has a very big and infamous family. His cousins are the 051 KD, TYMB Cortney, TYMB Cortize, TYMB Big Dre, TYMB Face; Lamron Lil Rob, Ace Boogie etc… He also has 2 very well-known uncles: MUBU Curt Mac & No Limit G-Slim; and loads of other well-known people from the South & Eastside.

Yarmel grew up in the ”Met” Buildings/Randolph Towers (the Black Disciple HQ/Stronghold on 6217 S Calumet Ave that got tore down). He later moved to 59th & Calumet (600) with his mother and siblings. Melly used to hoop a lot and went to Dusable High School, that’s how he became affiliated with the MC’s that be on 50th/51st from King to Cottage. Soon he would start repping 051 Young Money after the death of Zeko. He never flipped to Mickey Cobra even though most of YM’s opps were BD. He moved to different addresses throughout the South & Eastside of the city. His last known address is 6425 S ELLIS AVE (DRO City Sno Block), where he lived with his grandma Allecia and his father Yamur. He used to stay a lot with his uncle Curt Mac (killed in 2017) and Krump (killed in 2018). Melly is pretty much plugged in throughout the whole city, he has connections with Maul Town GD’s (friends of his father who is GD) where he frequently stayed and gambled (this is also the location where he got arrested the most 67th/68th EAST END AVE, mostly for gambling.) It is also known that some members of NLMB fucked with him because of his uncle No Limit G-Slim (one of the founders of NLMB). He also had ties with the foes on the Eastside, he can be seen in pictures with Bump J and other famous 4CH members.

Before I start off this part of the thread I am going to say that everything on here is speculation and could easily be wrong, but this is what the word in the streets is and what we can find out ourselves throughout social media and other things.

We do not know if Melly is implicated in any murder before 2012 but we can be sure that he was a shooter and active in the THF – YM war.
