Book of Job chapter 21 verses 1-3 “Then Job answered and said: ‘Listen carefully to my speech, and let this be your consolation, bear with me that I may speak, and after I have spoken, keep mocking.’“
Job was in a hard spot. Everything in his life seemed to be going wrong. The people around him began to suggest that maybe he and God weren’t as close as he had confessed to them after all. This world will mock you as a Christian when trouble comes your way. Don’t let your confidence in God be eroded by their words. Jesus will not fail you, that is His promise to you. Job’s mockers were brought to shame, and he was brought into the visible victory that had always been his, and it will be your victory too, in this hour, this time, in God’s way.
