On this week’s episode of Mocs on the Mic presented by SmartBank, host Chris Goforth is joined by men’s basketball head coach Lamont Paris and student-athletes David Jean-Baptiste, Malachi Smith and Silvio De Sousa.

Chattanooga is returning to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016 when the Mocs won the SoCon regular season and tournament titles. UTC earned a No. 13 seed and drew fourth-seeded Illinois in the Round of 64. This will be the third meeting between the two programs.

Chattanooga won both previous meetings including its historic NCAA run in 1996. The Mocs beat the 19th-ranked Illini in the second round to reach their first-ever Sweet 16.
