Model Ministry (Acts 20:13-38)
Godly examples of Christian ministry are vital for churches and their leaders. Christian ministry is a dangerous calling. There are many threats to the Christian leader, from both inside and outside the church. Acts 20 is a jewel in the book of Acts. It’s a farewell speech at the end of a farewell journey, which summarises Paul’s ministry in Acts 13-20 and looks to the future. Paul meets with the Ephesian elders and lays out his ministry – its nature and priorities and perseverance. And he calls on them to remember it, and to emulate it.
