Mary Robinette Kowal (@robinettekowal) is a Nebula- and Hugo-award winning science fiction and fantasy author, a puppeteer, and podcaster. In addition The Calculating Stars: A Lady Astronaut Novel which was nominated for a Hugo in 2019 (sci-fi book of the year award), she's also the President of the Science Fiction Writers of America, and very involved in the push for diversity in science, STEM, and sci-fi as a whole.
