This episode features a conversation with my guest, Kevin Camato.

Kevin grew up in Glendale CA and has been pastoring for the past 16 years. Currently the lead pastor of Upper Room Fellowship, he strives to empower and encourage  communities to actively fulfill God’s call in their lives by helping each person discover their God-given talent to be used for the furthering of His Kingdom and the healing of the world. Kevin is a father of two, a seven year old daughter and son to be three year old son; and has been married to his beautiful wife Gerlynne for 12 years.

In our conversation we talk about how Kevin and his wife look to model healthy conflict and conflict resolution for their children, and the ways that has translated into how brother and sister handle their own moments of conflict. We also share some time reflecting on the most recent school shooting tragedy in Uvalde, TX, as well as other terroristic acts of hate and violence toward minority communities. Finally, Kevin opens up and share a deeply painful story about his coming into fatherhood.
