A seasoned moderator creates the framework for an event. The moderator guides the speakers and the audience, provides an added value without being the front-runner. Just like a great ingredient to a wonderful dish: you don’t really know that it’s there, but if it isn’t you will deeply miss it.

Virtual and hybrid events are a special case. They require additional skills from the moderators and they need to adapt to the new reality.
