Adaptation (2002) vs. Matchstick Men (2003)

The category for this week's episode is "Nic Cage" with two films that proved to be a great double feature. Adaptation is a true hidden gem with two Nic Cages for the price of one (thank you Spike Jonze). The film follows the real life writer of the script Charlie Kaufman along with his fictitious twin brother on a wild ride that includes orchid heists, a car crash, and plenty of existential dread. Then your hosts dig into another forgotten banger with the Ridley Scott's Matchstick Men about a con man struggling with a severe case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. So tune in but don't forget to stop and mell the "orchids". Also make sure you can answer one question "Have you ever been dragged to the sidewalk and beaten till you PISSED... BLOOD!?!"
