We worship with our hearts and minds. We give worth, value, weigh tines, consideration to things. Every human being is a worshipper. We can't not be.

 

Maybe we give worth to eating, favorite football team, fishing, music, maybe we are grumpy all the time and give worth to everything that is wrong- we value complaining, 

 

Many of the things we give worth, value, honor to are not wrong. But some of them are.  Anything that we give a stronger voice to than God is an idol.
