The apostle Paul tells us that a disordered desire - any desire that displaces God and subordinates our spiritual pursuits - is idolatry. Long gone are the wooden idols of old. But has our instruction to "place no other gods before me" (Ex 20:3) faded too? Idolatry is alive and well in Babylon!
