Docomomo Hawaii. Modernizing both exterior architecture and interior decoration is an ongoing process for all businesses, and has been for many decades. This program will show how modernizing in mid-century Hawaii occurred, and the various changes which this brought to some of Honolulu’s notable buildings. Some are still standing today and can be viewed, but most of the examples have been demolished.
