Water is a part of everything we do in Modesto, from the water we drink to the yards we care for and the communities we call home. Where does this water come from, where does it go, and what does it take to make sure that there is enough water for everyone, today and for our future?

When the Downtown Streets Team announced last year that they would be closing their doors to service. The City of Modesto leveraged community partnerships to launch a new initiative called HopeWorks that would continue to support individuals as they rebuild their lives out of homelessness.
Hear from City staff, Edgar Garcia and Meggan Clifford, on how the City jumped into action in identifying opportunities to keep this initiative alive. Dive into community partnerships with Jason Conway from the Modesto Gospel Mission and Keristofer Seryani from the United Way of Stanislaus County. Our conversation concludes with special guest, Mayor Sue Zwahlen explaining why this program is important to our community.
