This podcast is part of the seminar introduction to Inter-American studies at Bielefeld University. For this year’s theme “the Caribbean-Archipelago of Cultures”, we were eager explore Curaçao diversity and its music scene through Tambú, a rhythm that has its roots in slavery.
From traditional Tambú to Tambutronic, we will explore what place Tambú has in the lives of the people who perform it and explain what is behind the lyrics.
