This podcast is about the second day of my 2025 motorcycle ride. This expedition is through Nevada, detailing my scenic journey from Winnemucca to Jackpot via the unexpected lush landscapes of the Ruby Valley.

I reflect on Nevada’s unique geography, which boasts the most mountain ranges in the continental U.S. I found a deep sense of solitude and discovery through my "side quest" on the Secret Pass Scenic Drive. Beyond the physical route, I explore historical and personal connections, ranging from a visit to the California Trail Interpretive Center to an introduction to my highly skilled riding partner, James.

Ultimately, this serves as a tribute to the spirit of motorcycle touring, emphasizing the bikes' mechanical reliability and my nostalgia for my first motorcycle, a Honda XL 250.
