Hello Mogpies! Through Disney's history they have taken stories of the past and changed them to be more acceptable by mass audiences. They take a story that does not have a happy ending and ensure they get their "happily ever after". But is this the right thing to do? Once we realize the true origins does that change our memories of the films and how they shaped us as children? Also while the dilemmas faced by the typical Disney princess is usually the same, the ones thrust upon the individuals in the original stories are much more dark in origin and have rather dangerous outcomes. So let's take a trip down nostalgia lane and look deeper into some of the Disney stories of our past.
