Hello Mogpies! This weeks episode is inspired by the new documentary on Netflix "Dont Pick Up The Phone". It tells the story of a hoax caller that convinced more than 100 managers to perform illegal strip searches on their employees, and in most cases it did not end there. Looking at this story it really is difficult to understand how people could fall for such a trick, but we are very trusting in nature. And based on the Milgram Experiment conducted in the 60's people are surprisingly obedient to who they perceive as an authoritative figure.  We can see the effects of that experiment in these calls, with how easy it was for the caller to get these people to do really anything he wanted.
