Hey There Mogpies! Our environment has a lot of effect on our mental health. The noise and air pollution of a bustling city, to the silence of a rural town there are benefits to each, but there can be some detrimental aspects attached to these living conditions as well. Many architects have been putting more focus on mental health and how our surroundings can affect it and there is one idea that keeps coming up. That is that we need to incorporate more nature into our lives. Nature can be used to break up the monotony of large buildings all looking the same. Giving our brains more external stimulation which in turn helps boost our overall mood. The ways in which nature is being incorporated is rather fascinating so lets talk about it!
