🪷 Ekadashi comes twice a month — on the 11th lunar day of the waxing and waning moon. These days are considered sacred and carry immense spiritual power. Everything we do — whether good or negative — becomes greatly amplified. Anyone who has ever fasted on Ekadashi knows how perception changes, how the mind becomes calm, and how the energies and doshas within the body become harmonized.
🪷 Each Ekadashi has its own special significance. On the material level, we become cleansed of past sins, while on the level of the soul, Ekadashi awakens within us a deeper desire to serve the Lord.
‼️The fast is usually observed by refraining from grains and beans. Some eat only once a day, some drink only water, and some abstain from food completely. The Vedas explain that different levels of fasting give different results. The Skanda Purana states: ✨ “If a person eats once a day, the consequences of sins from one lifetime are destroyed. If one eats only in the evening — two lifetimes. And if one fully fasts — the sinful reactions of seven lifetimes are eliminated.”
📖 Mokshada Ekadashi is the day when Lord Krishna revealed the sacred Bhagavad-gita to Arjuna, granting knowledge and liberation. This Ekadashi guides us toward the path of true spiritual freedom.
May this holy day fill your heart with peace and devotion. 🙏✨
