Tabatha was sexually abused as a small child. With nowhere to turn, she landed in foster care.

Later on in life, the trauma she went through as a kid came back to haunt her, and she made a nearly successful attempt at suicide. 

Laying there, clinging to life in an ICU bed, she made the decision to fight back.
