In this series of episodes, we will learn about Mollie Hunte (1932-2015) an educational psychologist born in Guyana. Mollie Hunte was an essential part of the Black parents movement and the education movement in the UK during the 1960s onward.
In this episode we will hear from Carmel Cameron a retired teacher and community activist who was very involved in the Camden Black Parents Group during its early inception and the Black Education Movement. We will hear about her involvement in various organisations and her connections and memories of Mollie including archival audio of Mollie herself.
