You will forever be stuck with the parents you got, but that doesn't mean you can't be true to yourself without their love and guidance. Some parents are just blind to the love right in front of them but that doesn't mean you can't try to get them to understand. Remember they're stuck in their ways, that doesn't mean you have to be as well.
