Hi! I’m Mei-lin and I live in San Francisco with my dad, stepmom and three stepsisters. Before I was born, my parents moved here from Shanghai because my dad got a really good job with an engineering firm. Sadly, I never met my biological mother. All I knew was that she disappeared after I was born. I don’t know how or why.

My dad took care of me all on his own until he met Charlotte, my step mom. I was six years old the first time I met her. I thought she was gorgeous - she had curly, blonde hair and hypnotizing green eyes that would change color sometimes. She also had a warm, loving personality and I was very comfortable having her around. When she was just dating my dad, she’d bring me toys and my favorite cookies. Apparently it’s really easy to win my affection with food.
