When I was about five years old my mother married a guy named Paul. He had two daughters older than me, Sapphire, ten, and Crystal, 13. When she married Paul we moved out of our dingy apartment and into Paul's house. Sapphire and Crystal did not want to share their room with me so my mother put me in the basement at the age of 5. I was given an old worn out mattress which I placed on the ground and a cardboard box to put my clothes in.
