It's definitely frustrating putting in a lot of work and not being acknowledged for it, but that's not why you do it. You do it to become great at what you do. Most of the time you will be just given more work, because now you're building an expectation to your work ethic. But don't fall off, don't allow it to get to you. Instead see where you can use these life skills, and apply them to your benefit.
