Born on March 4, 1996 in Ypsilanti Michigan, Dajah Monae Sandusky. professionally known as Monae Morae is an emerging hip-hop artist who believes that if the right words are heard, they can change someone’s life for the better. Morae is also a marketing strategist who has partnered with CEOs, executives, as well as other artists to help grow their professional brands.

Morae’s career began in 2016 when she landed both a publishing and distribution deal, which enabled her to start her own label, Pandemic Legends Records, LLC, based in Detroit, Michigan. Since it began, she has successfully released several projects. Morae has dedicated her life to music with hopes of achieving worldwide success so she can take care of her family and siblings.In 2019, Morae teamed up with Miami-based label, Rich Nation Entertainment to release her single entitled Keep It 100 featuring Interscope recording artist Tory Lanez. The single had been performing very well on independent music charts prior to its release and is continuing to gain traction since its release on September 27.

When she isn’t behind the mic, she enjoys graphic design and audio engineering.

Morae is an amazing artist, and with musical influences like Drake, Lucci, Missy Elliott, and Jay-Z, she is definitely someone to watch in this ever-changing industry.
