The family of Henrietta Lacks, the woman whose cells have been used in medical breakthroughs ranging from the polio vaccine to cancer treatments, and are currently for sale from a biotech company, is suing for justice and restitution. They claim that her cells were tested and reproduced without consent. Jury selection has started in the trial of Ahmaud Arbery's death in Brunswick, GA on Feb. 23, 2020. Three have been charged in his death that was recorded by one of the defendants and later circulated online, sparking outrage nationwide.
