- This summer we will be with our friends from Aurora Fab 5 Dj’s at the 3rd annual Picnic In The Park! Aurora & Chicago Dj’s throw down for the crowd in an event that’s always a good time. This year there is a fantastic lineup and everyone will be crushing it all day! We will be doing interviews, making content and in the field that say so come say hi if you see us! - Our friends at the Women's Business Development Center have another great announcement! The E-Commerce Cohort is launching soon and registration is open. Learn how to start your business, develop a marketing strategy and work with professionals to guide you during this exciting cohort. Classes will take place every Tuesday from noon to 2 pm, via Zoom, and the cost is free! The cohort will run from May 14th to June 18th so don’t delay and sign up today! - Saturday, May 11th an important community forum about ending gun violence and public safety will take place at the Prisco Center (150 W. Illinois ave) in Aurora. The Kane County Health Department, the START Program and the Project Safe Aurora Violence Prevention Coalition are hosting this event which will feature amazing guest speakers, resources and helpful information to protect our communities. The event will be from 11 am to 2 pm and is free and open to the public. Collectively, we can address issues and find solutions to protect Aurora as we prosper as a city.
